Hi, can anyone advise, bought the LFC Titleist Umbrella from LFC online store Oct 20, due to lockdown not been able to play golf until May21, used the umbrella 3 times and now one of the arms has splintered and snapped, contacted LFC and they refuse to consider return or refund on items over 6 months old, Titleist are not answering correspondence, do I have any rights on this one?.

How much did it cost? You do have consumer rights with LFC, and possibly warranty rights with Titleist (if they provide a warranty). If it's relatively low value, it probably isn't worth pursuing, because you'd have to prove an inherent fault or inherently poor design in order to exercise your consumer rights and get a repair, refund or replacement.mty said:Hi, can anyone advise, bought the LFC Titleist Umbrella from LFC online store Oct 20, due to lockdown not been able to play golf until May21, used the umbrella 3 times and now one of the arms has splintered and snapped, counted LFC and they refuse to consider return or refund on items over 6 months old, Titleist are not answering correspondence, do I have any rights on this one?.1 -

As it's been over 6 months the onus is on you to prove that this is a fault present when you purchased the umbrella and not down to user misuse or excessive wear & tear etc.. Up to you but I'd advise to pick your battles. Is it really worth the trouble over a £35 umbrella.mty said:Hi it cost £35
Personally I'd bin it and never shop (and support for that matter 😉) LFC again.3
