There is an iPhone that an ex employee has left and I cant reset. Its connected to his Apple ID so wont let me erase it until I put in the icloud password and I dont know the password to his personal account.
I do have lines of communication via text message and I think he has a new personal iPhone connected to his icloud.
As this person is not very technical, my questions is, can he delete/remove the old phone using the icloud control panel on his new phone (so he doesnt need to give me any information) or does this need to be done in a browser. I dont have an iPhone so I cant check this feature.
Thanks

settings>click on his name at top>click on old device name at bottom>click on 'remove from account'
this will then remove iCloud and disable 'find my iphone' on his old phone. You will then need to use iTunes (i think) to factory reset his phone.1 -
Thank you - I will give that a try
