"outfox the market"
Hello all, we are quite new to outfox, but in the last few hours we have learned that this business has the title of a "dormant company". We signed up in June and have made 2 payments by direct debit. As yet, mid August, despite a request-we havent received ANY bill and we dont know if we are in credit or not. Getting any info out of the business by any method seems to be a bit difficult. Whilst reviews are still very good (on trustpilot) our concern is that the owners appear to have a history of dubious trading. What would people recommend we do please- stay or switch. We found their name via one of our regular monthly emails from "moneysavingexpert". thanks all

The company you are paying is not dormant, it is Foxglove Energy Supply Ltd, who are trading as 'Outfox the Market'.It is not uncommon to keep a registered dormant company to protect the trading name. There are many other reasons to be concerned about their trading history, but that at least isn't one of them.Take a look at the foot of their webpage and you'll see this:Outfox The Market (Foxglove Energy Supply LTD), 16 North Mills, Frog Island, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE3 5DL, England
Registered Company Number: 09689035

Log in to your online OFTM account - From there, you should be able to download any/all bills that have been produced.Tip - One downloaded, print out a copy and save both the file and paper somewhere safe.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

OP, I signed up a few months ago with OTM, and not had any issues. There is an APP for android if you have a tablet or phone. Download that, sign up, and you can track your bills, provide meter readings etc. I've found the app isn't a good as EDF who we were with before - the balance isn't updated straight after submitting a reading, but otherwise ok. They seem to bill every 3 months, and send emails for meter readings every month. Billing has been fine for me.0

Who are you referring to when you say "They seem to bill every 3 months"?Bigphil1474 said:OP, I signed up a few months ago with OTM, and not had any issues. .....They seem to bill every 3 months, and send emails for meter readings every month. Billing has been fine for me.
Afaik, OFM send statements every month.
I think EDF only send a statement once per year, unless they get a meter reading which will produce a new statement.
