You mean email it to the CCBCAQ email address. Not sending it to 'them'!StuartM1985 said:Thank you Redx,
Shall I go ahead and send defence off to them?
I really hope you have done the Government Consultation by email and objected absolutely to ANY debt recovery fake 'costs' being added on top of a parking charge (of course) and told them what you think of them increasing charges to £130 instead of £100...which is already extortionate.
You have 6 days to do the consultation. Please, please, do and do it by email so you attach evidence. Spread the word, is closes within days, next week!
Also, I hope you've also registered for the Group Action, against the DVLA (open to anyone with a PCN since 2018?). Gotta be in it to win it! Nothing to lose, and it's genuine.
Read the threads about those important matters, they both need doing, right now, this week.

Hello, as an update i have a response from GladstoneWe act for the Claimant and have notified the Court of the Claimant’s intention to proceed with the Claim. Please find enclosed a copy of the Claimant’s completed Directions Questionnaire, which has also been filed with the Court. You will note the Claimant has elected to mediate in an attempt to settle this matter amicably, without the need for further Court intervention. Should you agree to mediation, please inform the Court who will contact both parties to arrange a mediation appointment. Yours sincerely
What should i do next ?

So today was my day in court - the hearing took nearly 2 hours!
It was an online hearing, and Gladstones solicitor attended.
I was accused of mounting an “internet defence” and I wouldn’t “understand the complexities” of the contents of what I have submitted.
Well, unfortunately Mr Gladstone, of course I don’t, but when you are bullied into small claims court with a 68 page claim pack, make sure you get my email address correct 😂
I explained to the Judge that I was not the keeper or driver at the time, and although my ex-employer named me (to make their problem go away), I was unaware that it was my job to prove I was innocent? On that basis the claim was not awarded.
Thank you to all on MSE for your help2 -
Yay good result

ANOTHER UKCPM ONE BITES THE DUST!
And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation. I can see you were here in 2021 for the last one, but the parking industry blocked the resulting Code of Practice in June this year and the whole darn thing is back on the table, in terms of the level of parking charges and the false extortionate 'DRA fee'.
Hopefully - amongst all the political disruption - it will be open at least by January.
Just checking you are among those ready to respond to the questions as you have personal experience of how this crap feels?
Please come back here when it opens, and you can make sure you don't miss the Consultation:
