2nd vaccination keeps being cancelled

I had my 1st vaccination and booked 2nd at same time.
Every week (on a Thursday) I get an email and text saying my 2nd vaccination has been cancelled and I need to rebook.
I go on and rebook (same slot) and get the confirmation.
Is this happening to anyone else, is it a known fault?

Have you tried rebooking a different slot ??

I've not heard of that before, to be honest I thought most vaccination centres were effectively "drop in" now anyway.
Just go and see what happens.1 -
If its more than 8 weeks since your first then just pop along to a drop in centre for your 2nd. No need to book.1

Choose a different day of the week and time?1

I thought it was a glitch at first, but now I've noticed it's every Thursday I get the message.

Find a drop in centre near you

As above, a drop in centre is your best bet.1

I haven't heard of this happening but as others have said, I'd suggest that you just go along , they will almost certainly be able to give you your second jab without an appointment. It's worth also calling 119 to report it in case it is a common issue.
The only other possibility I can think of would be if they only have (say) Pfizer and you had the AZ jab the first time, or vice versa. If that's the case then booking via 119 and specifying which you had the first time may help. All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)1 -
If you have gone more than 8 weeks, go online to search for a drop in centre near you that is doing the one you need. Lots of places are doing walk-ins now, but I'd recommend going earlier rather than at closing time - walk ins can be refused if it means opening a new vial and wasting doses, but early in the day that is unlikely to be an issue. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

I wonder if 8 weeks+ is the issue. Perhaps the OP can clarify.0
