Java script or flash error??

Hi - i seem to have major problems accessing alot of sites due to a javascript error or flash error..... for example - trying to access youtube i get this msg "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player" - i have tried all obviously options...have got rid of Flash and downloaded again, have also gone onto internet options, tools and selected the enable tabs for all javascript... i have Norton AntiVirus 360 but i have looked on here and all seems normal - nothing that i can see blocking anything!

Oh by the way, i have Windows Vista (gggrrr!)

Help!!!?!?!?!

Any ideas or should i just give in and ring The Pc world people who i pay £8.99 per month to help me if i need assistance (not very moneysaving i know - but usefull in times like these maybe?) ?!! lol
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
