  • Thanks to those above who made it clear I needed to up my game a bit. Submitted a full-on Witness Statement using one from a sticky here as a template and guess what arrived in the post today! (pic should be attached) They've wasted a great deal of my time, can I pursue this any further, obtain costs or anything?

You could do but it could also waste more of your time.

Complain to the SRA about this bad conduct.

Also get your MP involved as clearly such a case should never have reached court stage. Ask for this to be referred to the new Justice secretary.
BWLegal have also wasted the courts time and it is about time the court system sanction legals who do this.

Nicely done, told you that you could do it - you beat a legally represented company in litigation and can be proud of this win!

ANOTHER BW LEGAL/ CPMS ONE BITES THE DUST!

Get your own back by reporting them to the DVLA for issuing PCNs on Local Authority land.  Takes one complaint email with evidence attached, and asking your MP to lend their weight to the complaint as well.

DVLA data complaint emails are in the 5th post of the NEWBIES thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Unlikely if the discontinuance was more than a week before the hearing date , especially not if it's more than a fortnight before

You could try those other suggestions , the complaint's etc

I would hope that you participated in the government consultation , but that closed 3 weeks ago

Also complain to the ICO that the DVLA released your personal data without first checking the PPC had a right to access and process it (other than the PPC being a member of a trade association). The police have to go through more checks than that to obtain personal data from the DVLA.
In addition, make the same complaint to the ICO about the PPC.

Please do get your MP involved in this as well.
