EasyJet travel insurance refund

Does anyone know if I can I get a refund on EasyJet travel insurance? I booked flights to Portugal back in May, at the time of booking I added on their covid insurance as part of the booking (Collinson). EasyJet then cancelled all the flights with no explanation. I'm no longer going as the dates I want to travel are not available at the same price with EasyJet and are very expensive and not direct. EasyJet have refunded the flights however I also want the insurance refunded as I would never have purchased and it was EasyJet who cancelled not myself. I've emailed easyjet and just got directed to FAQs which doesn't answer the questions. Many thanks

I don't see that you have a right to cancel.
The insurance was taken out with a third party, I'd say you have the same rights as if you'd gone to any other insurer for this i.e. you're at the mercy of whatever their T&C's allow for cancelling the insurance. As they appear to have a 14-day cooling-off period and you're past that, no refund is due. The insurance policy doesn't cover a specific flight so can still be used on the days you originally booked for.1 -
Thought that might be the case . Unfortunately EasyJet cancelled after the cooling off period so that was out of my control. Bit unfair as I would still be going if they hadn't cancelled the flights at their end. Thank you for your response.0
