Name and shame retailers

I have had it with shopping and 'customer service' in this country. In the past 2 months I've had headaches with some online shopping sites of LX Direct, Sportsshoes, Laura Ashley, esp. during sales. The first two have used the now common (nasty) tactic of not honoring discounts/vouchers they are advertising, (even though you have purchase confirmation) by writing to you days after a promotion has ended to say that your card has been declined due to incorrect number, card not accepted etc (ah, wrong answer, and I have the print out to prove it and credit card company says everything is OK). Why bother to offer things on sale if you don't want people to buy them??? A friend also had this happen to him at an electrical retailer who had an item which was mistaken marked down and when he made the purchase online, they called him up a few days later saying his card number is wrong, and sorry the item is no longer available. As for Laura Ashley, I don't know why I bother, I have had incidents in the past, and recently decided to give them another shot, and lo and behold, I placed an online exactly a month ago and they took payment for 2 weeks ago. Still no goods. Mind you I ordered some items from the USA last month and got the goods within a week. UK shopping sucks!
