Retrieving a log to see when I unlocked my iPhone using Face-ID?

Hi forumites,

Is it possible to get a log of how I have unlocked my handset (either Face-ID or passcode) - I’d need a log going back to at least the beginning of August 2021?
I’ve already asked Apple, who gave back the reply that they don’t record this information as privacy is there number one priority. Is this the sort of thing that can be logged by a company though - say, a banking app for example?
A strange request I know, but since getting my phone screen repaired on the 2nd August the Face-ID no longer functions. I immediately raised the issue with Gadgetwiz (the company that did the repair/damage) but they say as I did not supply my passcode when the device was collected they couldn’t check the device was functioning properly before or after. The T&Cs available at the time of booking and paying for the service did not mention the importance of giving your passcode to limit liability. After a bit of back and forth, they’re now accusing me of sending the phone with the Face-ID already not functioning and trying to cheat them into a more costly repair!
My phone screen is fixed, but the loss of the Face-ID is not only hugely inconvenient but it also devalues the handset’s trade-in value by £100s! This is the first time I’ve cracked my phone screen in over 10 years of owning a smart phone, but I’ve learnt the lesson that it’s better to pay the hefty premium and get it repaired Apple.

If I can just prove that it was functioning properly on the morning of the repair (which it most certainly was) i’ll have the final piece to prove negligence on the part of Gadgetwiz and get my Face-ID reinstated.
Praying for a solution to get me out of this consumer nightmare 🙏

I don't think that iOS keeps such detailed logs by default, it will probably be debug / errors only.
The face ID camera uses an infrared camera which must be the original device paired at the time of manufacturer for security reasons - if it has been replaced as part of the repair it will never again be usable as face ID.
Apparently it is easy to damage the connector to the IR camera during the screen repair as well.3
