Pre-pay card for services (brow bar) but shop has closed down

Hi.
I bought some pre-pay packages from Benito brow bar, where you pay ahead for a number of visits then get 1 or 2 free. They were located in a Debenhams store which has closed down. My nearest store is now 30 miles away. It's inconvenient for me as I don't drive.
The card purchased records the no. of services and has short T&Cs but the T&Cs don't mention store closures. The company have not released any statement about closures as far as I know. I have tried to contact them online and social media to see if there's any way of getting something refunded instead but no answer, other than to say I can use the card at my next nearest store.
Does anyone know if consumers have any rights on this? I suspect it would be similar to a gift card and I'll have no rights to anything back but thought it was worth an ask! Many thanks.

I imagine you're right. As the card isn't for a specific location (and the terms appear to say they can be used anywhere) then you'll just have to go to your next nearest branch.ethicalgirl said:Hi.

A couple of options. Sell the card on at a discount to recoup some of the money. If you have the value of more than one treatment then ask a friend who drives to take you to the nearest store in return for you giving them one of your treatments.1
