I wonder if anyone has any recommendations for breakdown cover for two cars. I was looking at Rescuemycar, but I spotted a potential problem. It seems they will only tow you up to 10 miles if they cannot fix the problem.
I don't need homestart.

I've been with Axa for a while. I've never had to call them out, but I expect the service will be about the same a Green Flag's.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Nationwide bank account have good cover for £13 per month if you can also use the other features of the account as I do.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Yep, I switched from separate breakdown and travel insurance to Nationwide FlexPlus, too. For me, it was partially a cost saving over the two individually, but mostly down to increased cover over the cheap breakdown providers.

Autoaid are pretty good.  Not as cheap as they used to be, but they'll cover you (and your spouse, if applicable) in any car, and there's no limit on the distance they'll tow you.

I have a Barclays account with their travel pack - full RAC cover and travel insurance for about £12 a month.

Went for them in the end. Both cars with both drivers for £94 a year.

Just curious as to which package you went for - their standard personal cover is £59.99, covers you and spouse in any car either of you is driving.
