Retailer Part-Cancels Order - Postage Refund?

I've been purchasing from an online retailer who has, recently, been cancelling part of my order and refunding the items not delivered.

However, they haven't refunded the postage paid on the whole order. While some of the items were delivered, they obviously haven't delivered everything that I paid them to.

What's most annoying is that their postage charges are quite inflated, you can see that's where they make their money. So essentially, it encourages you to buy as much in one order as possible. If they cancel an item, then you're likely to go back and choose something else - but you'd have to pay postage again.

My question is: If an online retailer cancels part of your order but delivers the other part, are they legally obliged to refund your postage (or provide complimentary postage on a replacement item of your choice)? I can't find anything online about what your rights are when the retailer part-cancels, and it seems like this retailer is using this as a means to force people to pay postage more than once.

Thank you :)

No, they are still allowed to charge the full postage amount, as long as postage was on a per-order basis and not on a per-item basis.

As long as it was a distance selling order (eg. online) you have the right to return the whole order within 14 days and they should then refund the postage cost in full, but you also end up with nothing.
