Morning all
Dull and overcast here and no sun due today, at least its not raining
We are just looking at flights etc for our holiday we are trying to do it on a very tight budget but we will get there, so I need to spend some time today looking at accomodation etc.
Will get the pups out for a good walk this morning. I need to empty the dw and hoover and mop the floors.
I am low carbing for a couple of weeks as it always works very well for me, well it has in the past I hope it does this time ! I just need to lose a bit of my tummy before we go away !!
Also for the first time as an adult I now have a small chest
and dont have to have lots of support from a swimming costume, so I have ordered a strapless one, it should arrive today so I hope it fits and stays up while I am snorkling !
Have good days all xxx

Morning all! I was up earlier, not much earlier admittedly , I took advantage of lying in for a change, but I went in the garden for a shufti after nearly a week away from it. I can categorically state that OH picked no beans, no tomatoes, no cucumbers and most especially no courgettes. I have a couple of marrows now ripe for making veg soup. He did, however , water the tomatoes which was lucky for his continued health. Going to have to spend a day in there to cut grass, water pots, dead head etc which I am looking forward to. I really miss my garden when I'm away.Wales was busy. My sister deserves a medal for the amount she did and what she cooked.I kid you not, she made the best lasagne I have ever tasted in my entire life and that was including my italian aunties' lasagnes and my mothers...and mine sad to say...And then she topped that with the best Sunday roast of pork, with added best cauli cheese. I keep telling her open a cafe, she hasn't yet. Luckily I have leftovers in the fridge. From which you can tell the diet went to hell but surprisingly, I don't seem to have put much on, but there were many trips to the tip attempting to empty the shed, much cleaning and cutting of 4ft high grass so that probably helped. House goes on the market proper tonight but apparently the agent has already had offers, property is like crack in Wales at the moment. I'm going to go back for another week soon ish to do my sisters garden, with her woking all day she doesn't have time and she's knackered on the weekends...It's funny to see her DIY muscle memory waking up too. She's hitting the power tools now, she got a combi drill at the weekend. She'll be a fully paid up member of the Women Doing It For Themselves now...Spotty internet connection and being busy and then knackered on repeat means I haven't really caught yp yet, so I wish you all as good a day as you can possibly have for now...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi9

Optician appointment went okay yesterday - just had the blurry sight from eye drops which cleared by bedtime.
Went into town this morning to get some maroon lining fabric to lengthen some school blazer sleeves.
Got some smoked bacon to use up for dinner tonight.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
