Rotten wooden cill under PVC patio door

I want to rectify this prior to putting my house on the market. Seems like the previous owners just covered the sill with a plastic cover and this has come away revealing the rotten cill (sill?). I've got one quote so far which is to replace the whole door, which seems excessive. Are there cheaper options without replacing the whole door?
Thanks
EDIT: It's a metal door, not PVC!

[I'm assuming the whole frame is timber rather than a mix of materials]If the sill is rotten, then there is a good chance that the bottom of the frame may also be rotten. It is possible to cut out the rotten sections of frame and fit a new sill. Shouldn't be hugely expensive, but finding someone that can do a good job may not be easy at the moment. Her courage will change the world.

It's pretty grim.0 -
OK, looks like a steel frame rather than timber - A carpenter or a skilled handyman should be able to replace the sill without too much difficulty.A window/door company will want to sell a new door, although you might find an independent sole trader who might be able to do it.Her courage will change the world.
