Faulty Tumble Dryer

We had a new kitchen fitted in December 2017 with integrated appliances. The tumble dryer i made by CDA and has 2 years call out and 5 year parts guarantees. Within 18 months it developed a fault and was fixed. Now just over 3.5 years the drum has completely split at the back. The engineering visit cost me £112. Despite me sending photos to the engineer beforehand, he turned up with no replacement part and informed me it could not be fixed and would need replacing. I'm now in dispute with CDA over the replacement as they want to offer me my £112 back towards the cost of a brand new replacement which will cost me a further £375. Effectively I'm buying a brand new one without any consideration to the 5 year parts warranty on the existing dryer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 i "think" im entitled to either a fix or free replacement. Is this the case please? Do i go after the manufacturer or the kitten retailer?

If you ask the kitten retailer to sort you out the reply will be "Me how?"

Sorry a sensible reply will be along from someone shortly.
Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.

For starters your warranty has nothing to do with CRA.
If you want to invoke your rights under CRA then the retailer (your kitchen fitter?) is the one to target

    As above .
Key here is who did you purchase from ?? That is who is responsible for CRA Warranty is not CRA and is subject to its own  terms and conditions .
You either claim under Warranty or CRA .

After nearly 4 years your rights under CRA would not mean a free replacement dryer.
