Vaccinated in the USA but not a US citizen

I have recently been in the US working and whilst I was there I was able to receive the Covid vaccine.
The UK have recently change the guidelines and accept the US vaccines now but in order to not have to quarantine you have to prove you are vaccinated and provide evidence of US residency.

I don't have US residency and so was wondering if anyone knew if there was any other way to provide proof I am fully vaccinated as I need to travel back to the US soon and would like to avoid the quarantine on my return.

Unsure what the UK guidelines has to do with your question. You need to check the US requirements.

As a UK citizen, I would assume you just need the CDC card to prove the vaccination 

If its the same as our experience, no one asks to see anything anyway.

Are you talking about the requirement to show vaccination in US  for entry to UK or the requirement for returning to  US?

Proof of an approved USA vaccination programme

You need to show a CDC card showing you’ve had a full course of an FDA-approved vaccine in the USA.

You’ll also need to show proof of residency, such as a USA passport, visa or Green Card.
