Hi I'm looking for anyone that has been on NEA my partner has gone on to be self employed he has been in and signed all forms it says his payment dates will be starting from the 12th but that's the day he signed his papers can anyone let me know how long it takes before payments start?

It can be around a week, or it may be longer - 2-3 weeks. It just depends how long it takes them to process the paperwork, and assuming he completed all the paperwork that needed completing at the time.Payments will start from the agreed date. The first payment received will also include any backdated weeks that may be owed back to the 12th if it has taken them some time. After that, he will receive regular weekly payments.
