Morning allThanks for starting the thread CLF@1LuckyLady that is some impressive weight loss! OH and I have made a decent start. I really need to get rid of the lockdown flab and drop a dress size.Not sure where the time is going! I was up late (for me) at almost 7.30, and have only just got back from walking the dog.Today I need to:Sort out kitchen / empty dishwasher/ put stuff awayTriage fridge - my brother brought round loads of cooked meat products from his staff shop at work (they had over produced, were having a clear out and selling stuff for literally pennies to get rid of it). DS popped in last night and left with a large piece of ham, but there is more to sort out / freeze. What with garden stuff, my freezer is bursting, so I probably need to sort that out too. Just as well I am good at tetrisWater garden potsPick anything that is readyCut and wash some lettuceSort out some paperwork for OHSort out some stuff to take to my sales unit tomorrow, when I will be in the shop working all day againMeal plan - this has slipped again, and it makes life so much easier, and prevents me overspending on food. It is very rare for me to waste any, but it ends up being stuffed in the freezer!Ought to do some 'proper' housework as well5

Afternoon all!
@DawnW Thank you
In the way of small things..
* bought a £1.50 veg box from lidl, need to prep lots of it this afternoon to make sure nothing goes to waste (often one item in the pack has started to turn) Done, one apricot, 2 necterine & a couple of pears needed using immedatley so stewed them with some apple and berries, thats dessert for the next few nights sorted.
* updated freezer list and meal plan to make the most of the above! Done
* check banking & update spreadsheet Done
* rm survey Done
* new calendar has arrived this morning so got to put school dates onto it for 2022 Done
* use up meals tonight, kids having egg & pasta salad, dh & I will have topped jacket spuds to clear up odds and ends from the fridge
Other then that its just an afternoon of pottering around tidying as I go I think!
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

Evening allWorking today, so limited home stuff accomplished. But I have:Walked dog first thing, and after work when OH and I went to vote. The local Police and Crime Commissioner (I think that is what they are called) election for this county is having to be rerun at considerable cost to local tax payers, because the winner of the original election turned out to have had convictions that disqualified himLoad of washing dried on the line before it poured with rainOH did some housework while I was at workThe rain watered the garden which saved me another job. The tomato plants really aren't liking this weather though - I notice signs of blight
They have been poor this year in any case because the compost I planted them in was contaminated (quite common this year according to Google, because of manufacturers having to use less peat, and some substituting council green waste contaminated with weedkiller). So no tomato sauce for the freezer this year, though there are enough tomatoes to eat in salads etc.
Made a frittata for dinner with some slightly out of date eggs, and various fridge shrapnel. There will be enough for lunch tomorrow as well.
