Nail gun for fitting laminate flooring

Hi All,

Does anyone know if this nail gun is suitable for fitting 8mm laminate flooring? I want to use it for nailing laminate on the stairs for extra protection in addition to using adhesive.

I wouldn't nail laminate in the first place - modern adhesives are more strong and reliable than needed in this case.

If you really want to nail it,  why do you need an electric tool for this small job?

And you can find some nicer nails than ugly brad nails.

I also wouldn't be putting it on stairs either.
