Transiting through Schipol

I am travelling to France in a few weeks, and being fully vaccinated do not need to do any Covid tests prior to leaving the UK. My flight transits through Schipol (1hr). My current understanding of the rules are that I do not need to worry about the Dutch entry requirements (who do mandate testing for those coming from the UK and wishing to stay in the Netherlands) for a short transit where I am not leaving the airport, and just need to fill in my French 'covid declaration' form. Is this correct?

First of all, are you actually transiting? ie do you have a straight through ticket and so will be staying airside or have you bought two separate tickets and therefore will be legally entering the Netherlands and then checking into your next flight?

A link to the latest transit rules on Netherlands Gov website is here :

You will be clearing immigration in the Netherlands, as this is where you will enter the Schengen area.
The Netherlands-France flight is in effect a domestic flight with no immigration controls.
You will therefore need to ensure you are able to enter the Netherlands as well as France.💙💛 💔1 -
I am a bit confused though as it says at the same time on the above site that:
"If you transfer/transit in the Netherlands you do not need to show a negative COVID-19 test result on arrival in the Netherlands."..

I transitted through Schipol at the end of June.
They had a special area for passengers transitting to the U.K.
There they checked my pre flight covid test result which is required to fly to the U.K. and also checked my PLF.
They then stamped my onward flight ticket to show that all was in order to travel to the U.K.
I can't remember if they also looked at my proof of vaccination. I don't think they did but I had a hard copy handy as it was needed on entry to the U.K.
It wasn't at first clear that you had to go and have your documents checked when getting into the terminal after leaving the first flight.
When finding it there was a big queue as there were several flights leaving for the U.K. around the same time.
So if you have a short turn around, time could be tight.
