Kind of the opposite to money saving, but if you see your time as money then I guess it is in a roundabout way.
Really? It took a year to get an average and now its takes 3 minutes per month to check my meter reading. As I know my consumption per month I only need to alter my DD once in a blue moon for the correct yearly amount.
After the winter quarter my balance should be nearly zero. This year I changed suppliers which complicated matters but I was only rebated 1.39 in March.
Do I view my time as money. Nope, I have slowed my life down, stopped the overtime and learnt to smell the summer flowers. It took quite a while though.
