Nationwide’s FlexDirect 5% for 12 months offer is still available, although after the promotional period ends switches to 0.25% which isn’t great and you can’t use the offer again.

Virgin Money has a great M Plus current account which is free and provides the 2.02% forever (unless the rate changes) and has a linked saver paying 2.52%. Always check live limits as these can also regularly change.

Lloyds Bank/Halifax/Bank of Scotland is poor and the rates aren’t that impressive.

Santander has some interest although changes regularly and has a monthly fee.
