Payment on hold while refund in process

A transaction was on hold waiting for a buyer to return an item.  They had a pre paid label and I had to wait until yesterday for Ebay to intervene.

I telephoned Ebay at midday and confirmed the item hadn`t been returned and I was told the case was closed in my favour.

Then the buyer appealed and reversed the decision!

I telephoned Ebay and said this was contrary to their rules and regulations and the buyer was keeping the item and the money.  They agreed with me and the situation was restored. Ebay now say they aren`t sending labels anymore even although the seller pays for them!  I said I hadn`t noticed that announcement anywhere on their site.

I feel quite concerned that everyone seems to work from a different set of rules which is very exhausting.

I’m having similar problem. That’s so bad. I missed that too
