Internet purchase of yarn - "All Sales are Final on Sales Items"

Is this correct?  I've coveted this beautiful yarn for ages and now some of the colours are reduced in price as they're not restocking them.  But if I do buy and the colour isn't what I expect (it looks very different on my PC screen and on my phone screen, and I'm well aware it may be either or neither) am I stuck with it just because the price is reduced?

No. They cannot over-ride distance selling regulations. But they can make you pay return postage to return it if you do not like the colour as this would be a change of mind rather that faulty.

I'm assuming this is a UK company? (If not, then you are bound by laws of another country!)

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Is this a UK company? Otherwise you may difficulty getting any refunds.

Then that's fine. You can just return it under distance selling rights as long as it is not opened.

If you do open it (e.g. more than what you would do in a shop) they can then deduct a further amount from the refund proportional to the loss in value.
