    As for your hospital appointment, I would say you need to ask their policy. Even though the rules on isolation change on 16 August, a hospital setting may have a stricter policy. 
    Given how many people catch COVID in hospital it's surprising that they're even bothering.

    She's probably feeling wretched and miserable and just wants to be left alone. I know I can get quite tetchy when I'm not feeling well and hate people "fussing".
