Living in a house before probate

Hi, my cousin died without leaving a will and any other family members. So which means I’m the only one left. We are currently waiting for letters of administration, which I’m named on. He left a few insurance policy’s and his house, can I live in the house whilst I’m waiting for this to come through ?

are you definitely the only beneficiary? no other siblings, children, first cousins on either side of the family? if that is the case then yes I think you can live there - similar way in which a child may still be living in the parents house0

Yes I’m the only one left now. Everyone else has died or is a step.0

If you are living in the house then you need to take the bills on in your name , not expect them to be paid from the estate (although if you are the sole beneficiary to the estate then it's not really going to make much difference)

Yes we would be doing that any way.0
