Hi, looking for advice on appliance cover. Currently have my fridge and washer covered for breakdowns/repairs with domestic and general. Just had my renewal and wondered if allowed to shop around like you would with other insurance? I can get cheaper cover with homeserve. Thanks

You're "allowed to", just remember that there is a maximum age of appliance that insurers will take on on a new policy which may be lower than the max age they'll accept on an existing policy1

have you considered self insurance? and putting the money away for a repair fund?
The money i have saved over the years not having BG boiler cover, I could have a new boiler by now"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
