Hi all
Like lots of people, we had a holiday cancelled which we originally booked for last summer and had postponed until this year only for it to be cancelled.

The accommodation we had booked have provided a refund however it’s gone back onto a credit card which I no longer have. Unfortunately, I don’t know which credit card it is (only detail I have is last 4 digits) and how I’ll get the money refunded?
Any ideas how I would find out?
thanks

Contact the credit cards you've had in the past - it shouldn't take too many attempts to track down the right one. They'll then send the money on to you after some checks.0

You could check your bank statements for the DD payments to your credit card companies - it might jog your memory as to which one you used.Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.1

Thanks but also switched bank accounts during that time so haven’t got simple access. Think I might need to do a credit history check (I’m assuming that would show everyone you’ve held a card with?)

Over the last 6 years, but you'll need to check all CRAs for a full picture.
