DCB Legal - Premier Parking Logistics (Walton Wilkins) - Successful Hearing

I just wanted to create a quick post to say thank you to all of the help and support given on this forum. Although I didn't create my own post for my case I have used all of the help given on the newbies thread, as well as advise given on other posts for similar topics.
I was issued an N1 claim form from DCB Legal on behalf of Premier Parking Logistics (Walton Wilkins) in November last year. I followed the templates for the defence & witness statement along with adding my arguments which were mainly down to lack of adequate signage and grace periods not being adhered to.
The hearing for the case happened earlier today via telephone and was over in less than 15 minutes. The Judge dismissed the case on the fact that the claim was made purely on a contract being formed but did not supply adequate evidence to back this up. Although the claimant provided a picture in evidence showing the parked car with a sign in the background, the Judge agreed that the sign could still be missed if you were not to exit the vehicle and walk in that specific direction. The only other evidence of signage given by the claimant was a Google maps image that had been printed and 'signs' marked with a highlighter pen. The Judge agreed with the defence that anyone could mark a few dots on a page but this does not prove that there were any signs there at all.
Before dismissing the case the Judge asked if the claimant had any other grounds to bring to the table other than the claim of a contract being formed, to which the claimant said no and the case was dismissed.
I was asked if I would like to pursue expenses but to be honest I was just happy to put this to bed and said no.
This post is to say a big thank you to all of the help and advice given and to also encourage people that are getting nervous about the process, that this can be done.

Well done.
Thanks for the report.
Which court?

The court was Worcester County Court but I haven't got the judges name to hand, as it was a different judge than was originally allocated and my notes from the hearing are at home. I will update the post later with the Judge3

Thank you.
It's always good to see an ex-clamper lose.

Please complain to your local MP and also fill in the government consultation too4 -
Brilliant example of a DIY defence just using the written resources here on the forum without the need to create a thread. Super job. 👏Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Great result!!
I'm glad to see someone do well against PPL today. I was originally allocated Worcester CC, but ended up with a judge from Hereford (though I think the two courts are one and the same). Just goes to show, maybe a different day and a different judge, I'd have faired better.
