Nationwide mortgage docs

Hey!
I’m applying for my first 95% LTV mortgage with nationwide.
I have 3 months payslips, proof of deposit and my bank statements going back 3 months from today’s date (so 11th may-11th august). Is there anything else I will need? Also, any ideas on what sort of timescale nationwide seem to be working to at the moment?
Thank you!! :)

The time scale can and will change week to week and branch to branch !
You need to wait and see what else Nationwide want.
    Not a new build ?

Nope not a new build, ah okay!
  • Maybe get proof of ID/ address ready just incase. Our broker asked for it all however we recently got accepted for a Nationwide 95%ltv mortage and 3 months payslips was all that was required.

That’s so much help, thank you so much! I’m going to send over the bank statements, payslips, proof of deposit and ID like my broker has asked but if nationwide don’t need anymore that would be great as it can hopefully go through sooner! :)
    Congratulations on your home purchase!

Thank you for this! Can I just ask, is it normally 3 full months bank statements from 1st-31st of each month, or does going back 3 months from today’s day count as ok? I’ve managed to get them to yesterday’s date (11th May - 11th August)?

Lenders are generally happy with your last 3 months statements whenever the end date is.

I have recently seen the following end dates which Lenders have been happy with throughout.

    Santander 11th
    Barclays 26th / 13th / 19th
    TSB 2nd
    Halifax 31st
    Nationwide 18th
    Starling 31st
    RBS 7th
    First Direct 29th
    HSBC 2nd

Occasionally, the cut off date can cause an issue where the Lender is trying to match credits to particular payslips, or show 3 months rental or mortgage payments. .

Thank you that’s a great help as my statements each end between 18-20th with NatWest and applying with nationwide so hoping this should be okay!

Note - DIP accepted for nationwide and it seems they have only requested latest payslip & proof of deposit. Does this sound like everything they will need?

@JAM0915 The Nationwide broker DIP will list the documents required for each applicant. If it has only asked for the latest payslip and proof of deposit, that's all that is required when submitting the full application. At underwriting, they could ask for more/other stuff.
There's an incredible amount of information that can be verified by lenders automatically using other sources without requiring any proof to be supplied by the broker/applicant. They also rely on the broker having done their part.
