I basically wrote the wrong department postcode on the brown envelope.
Would they accept my application of name change if I just covered the wrong address with a white label & write the correct address on?

I need to send it ASAP for a mortgage offer

Yes a label correcting an address is OK. But maybe not on a prepaid envelope

Thank you, it's not a pre-paid envelope, I have to supply one .

To play it safe, I just blacked out the wrong postcode & wrote the correct one on the envelope itself , I just really worry (I have high anxiety when I do things wrong)

They are working:

Apply to change your name or address on your driving licence	4 June 2021

I'm not - Just doing as I'm told by the bank... it's their own doing if they want it quick
