On the o2 saga - what a shame. Hope you get it sorted soon.02 saga continues -I have now received no incoming calls or texts for 14 days now! and they keep escalating it and then the next dept says they have to escalate it . PEOPLE DONT MOVE TO 02 WITH AN EXISTING PAC CODE! They cant cope with any issues
Its the pac code issue as all was fine before - the mobile, vodafone number worked fine for last 5 + years.DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Last Monday (so a week of no calls or texts) the one customer service guy said 'sorry but it seems even though you have been calling everyday no one has actually escalated this' so he did and I was told 5 working days max to be contacted by the CRT escalation team (and it cant be hurried or fast tracked they have to follow theiir process)
Friday the CRT escalation team called to say (drumroll) that they cant help so they will escalate it to the engineers that can also take to to 5 working days..
This morning I got a call asking the issue and that she will 'escalate' it - yes the very thing that I have been trying to escalate since 14 days ago...
I may make a youtube video ... dont move to 02 - I found the deal on mse - anyone know who I can complain to here?

On ebay sales news - I had one requested return where she was saying there was damage - there was not ... but I accepted and there was clearly no damage at all. Of course it cost me the postage there and back
On another item he said there was a faulty bit (which it wasn't I am pretty sure when I posted it, it jhad been in a box for 3 months) - luckily though as it is under 1 year warranty still I have called Amazon - who I explained the apparent issue and they giving me a full refund. Result
So I am waiting for it to get posted back and then post to amazon then Amazon will give me a full refund. I have spent £25 on tracked insured postage back and forth but I will get most my money back
Thanks for all the £105k congrats - it is a huge amount of money. I will say Feb has been a wildly expensive going out month - a friends bday weekend so £70 plus out Sat night, an art show and coffee and food £30 sun, Thursday was £40... I am going back to no alcohol for a few weeks.
I am treating myself with a course for a week, like a reminder thing for one of my businesses. It looks fun and joyous and at £360 for a 5 day course is reasonable. Its in London as well so not too expensive - just travelDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)

If you're now at the "official complaint" stage with O2, check how long you have to sit on that before you can escalate it to the ombudsman. Because if they haven't sorted it by now I'm not sure they will without external pressure,Start mortgage date: August 2022; Start mortgage amount: £240,999; Original mortgage free date: August 2056

I scrolled back a few pages but couldn't find anything to clarify what you mean by "an existing pac code". Also do you mean neither your old nor new sim can receive calls or texts on both the number you want to keep or the number o2 issued? When/how did you request the pac?2
