More than car insurance voucher problem

Just wanted people to be aware of a problem with More Than car insurance.  I renewed my policy with them in March, they were £50 dearer than the lowest price I got on a comparison site but they said they would send me a £50 pre-paid card voucher so that they were the same price.  This card/voucher never arrived.  I have phoned on 4 previous occasions to chase this up.  I was told today that these vouchers were issued by a third party, I think the name was Eden Red, on behalf of More Than.  The woman on the phone said that there had been lots of problems with these.  She spoke to a manager who has said that they will make a payment back to my card of £50.   I wonder how many others have not received their vouchers and forgotten about it or not chased it up?  Surely if More Than are aware of the problem they should be contacting customers themselves?  I am very unhappy with the service I have got from More Than, will never use them again.

To be fair, yes you didn't get the voucher due to whatever reasons but they have given you the £50 in cash so you're now free to spend that on whatever you like so it's not all bad. Fair play to them for owning up & giving you the cash.
