Breach of planning condition on front fence

I see you say about being at a junction of two roads, could it be that is a condition for road safety (ie being able to see splays and into the road). - "constructed or planted in front of front wall of any building or the flank wall of a dwelling at the junction of two roads and/or footpaths without prior consent.."Money, Money, Money ..... Banks/Casinos/Bookies give me all you money its a poor mans world....3

Road safety could be a factor in why the development was 'open plan', but my understanding of the OP's quote is that it is just dealing with the situation in which a property has two 'fronts' - one facing each road/footpath.
That's the "more complicated if you have roads on more than one side" point I made in my previous post.
The same condition is likely to apply to all properties in the development, regardless of whether or not they have a road/footpath adjacent to a flank wall.

Definitely conduct all discussions withe the Planning team via email rather than by telephone. We have a complaint about our LPA failing to enforce serious planning breaches and having an email trail has made it difficult for them to wriggle out of the faults complained of.If you aren't already doing so, log every example of harassment and find a sympathetic body to investigate. Again we got further with the Police than the Local Authority. We've just made statements and submitted 80+ cctv clips to support the police bringing action under the Protection from Harrasment act, whereas the council ASBO person told is we had not enough to qualify as anti-social behaviour! A malicious complaint to enforce an old planning condition might qualify as another example of harassment taken in this wider context.Best of luck OP.

You haven't stated how tall these fences are, 3/6 feet?Fairygirl48 said:Hi I recently erected a fence around all my boundaries but a neighbour who has been harassing me for few years reported the fence and it turns out I have a planning condition dating back to 1986 stating no wall, fence or shrub in front of front wall of any building.

When we replaced our rear fence we had to get PP as four 2m high panels (of 14) were adjacent to the road behind. Private Road with no footpath. No PP required if we had gone for 1m high panels.
(According to our deeds we're not allowed to keep pigs, poultry or a caravan).1 -
Hi thank you all for your help and comments it's a 3ft high fence closeboard panels with concrete posts. We only have the lane running in front of the house to the end as it's a dead end road with a little cul de sac over to the right across the lane. Field behind, copse of trees to the side along our driveway and this neighbour the other side with an area about 59" between us. Footpath runs alongside front of garden but no corners or junctions outside ours. Much appreciated all your advice.0
