So we went to my friends house, she phoned them (she said she had tried 5 times in the previous few weeks, each time after being on hold for an hour she gave up), we got through after about 35 mins, a very helpful lady, and she basically said exactly the same as Jami74, she will arrange for a letter to be sent out, once completed and returned with necessary ID, it would all be sorted and money transferred to where she wants it to go.
The first time a letter was promised, it didn't arrive and she had to phone again.
I advised my daughter to photocopy her forms after they'd been verified, before she sends them off. It's probably being over cautious but I have read reviews online where people have said Natwest never received the forms or lost them. So now my daughter has a spare copy in case that happens.
Forms were posted on 11/08/21 with a copy of her most recent bank statement. I'll update when the money actually lands in her account.Debt Free: 01/01/2020
