Hi, could you advise me please.
We have soon exchange on the house, but after last time i saw the house, notice some hairline cracks in the brick mortar. Its in few places. All houses on the few street got them some more some less, should i be worried, and book full house survey?

What sort of survey have you had so far, if any?0

How old is the property? It’s potentially that the original windows were removed and upvc put without lintel support. This has then been rectified with new lintels.
definitely worth getting experienced eye to look at it.30th June 2021 completely debt free…. Downsized, reduced working hours and living the dream.0 -
Doesn't look like anything major, probably caused by differential settlement. It's not something I'd be overly concerned with but seek a professional's view.0

Only the lender has done survey. But not sure have they even saw the house.
It was built in 19820 -

definitely worth getting experienced eye to look at it.A lender's valuation provides you with no comeback should there be a structural issue with the house. It's
always wise to have at least a homebuyer's survey. You could commission a
structural engineer to look over that specific issue. My gut says it's
fixed, but I don't have any real evidence to support that.If it's all sorted, you should still get the cracks repointed as the cracks are a potential damp issue.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
