Hi. Any advice welcome. We took out a second mortgage around 10 years ago. 6 years ago I left my husband and the house. A few months later the house was repossessed. Few months after that my husband passed away. This was 6 years ago. The house sold,the 1st charge was paid off but thier wasn't enough to pay the 2nd charge. A company called Prestige Finance have just started chasing me for £14000 defasit. I have never heard of prestige finance until now..I realise a mortgage debt can be chased for 12 years. Amy advice on how to deal with this. I am unable to pay and would even struggle with monthly payments unless extremely small. Tns9
