Cancelling legal with ongoing claim
Options
Hi there
If you have an ongoing no fault claim and have paid for legal cover - if you cancel your insurance (my car was written off and I don't know when I'll buy another car) are you still covered by legal to deal with your claim? Insurance does not automatically get cancelled.
My insurance is with Quote Me Happy and I have had the worst experience dealing with them.
Thanks in advance.

Cancelling the ongoing policy will not affect any claims relating to incidents that happened during the term covered, no. Nor would the policy simply expiring...1

I am not too bothered about pursuing for losses I just would like my excess (hopefully other driver admits liability) as it was £250.0 -
If the car has been written off then the policy normally ceases anyway so you won't be cancelling itRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1
