CCJ parking eye & county court business centre

Hi there

I need some advice on how to remove a CCJ from my credit file applied in June 2019 by the county court business centre?

I am unable to be 100 % sure if the CCJ is in partnership with parking eye as I have no paper work or evidence to show for it.

I have emailed both parking eye and the business centre to confirm the charges and if they can remove the CCJ upon payment ?!

However parking eye want a figure of around £300 and the county court is just under £200

Would this be for the same fine ?

who should I trust to pay ? The county court as they applied the CCJ?

Any advice would be much appreciated

thanks

The best advice we can offer is that you read the newbies and google CCJs.  Read this and complain to your MP.

if you pay the ccj your credit file who be marked for six years.
if you get a set aside you may be able to clear it.
why  did your vehicle get a parking charge notice in the first place and where?

Paying it will not remove the CCJ , merely mark it as satisfied

Research a set aside if you wish to remove it and turn the clock back

£100 for a set aside with consent , £255 for a contested set aside

There was never any fine , just an invoice for breach of contract

If CCBC have confirmed it was done at the request of ParkingEye (after a court hearing - which presumably you did not know about/attend) you can ask the CCBC to tell you where they sent the original N1 claim form and to where.  You can then submit a SAR to ParkingEye asking for all the data they hold on you.  This should get you the original PCN and all other correspondence they allegedly sent to you.

  • Thank you for your comments, I have received a reply from the company parking eye about the cost to resolve the CCJ and they had mentioned the £255 to set it aside and said that it still may not be removed.

my concern is that parking eye are requesting funds of £300+ with the £255 for the request to set aside, but the county court business centre are requesting £197 only ? And they haven’t responded to me.

Thank you again for your help

Paying the£197 won't remove it , just mark it as satisfied

If PE won't agree to the £100 with consent set aside , plus you paying the £197 too , you are left with the £255 contested set aside route , with no guarantees of success

Why not just read the section in the NEWBIES thread that tells everyone about how to set aside a CCJ, including the £100 court fee option, if P/Eye will consent?  This is all explained there.

And please tell us you know about these other two threads (below) and have done both required urgent tasks?

I really hope you have done the Government Consultation by email and objected absolutely to ANY debt recovery fake 'costs' being added on top of a parking charge (of course) and told them what you think of them increasing charges to £130 instead of £100...which is already extortionate.

You have 5 days to do the consultation.  Please, please, do and do it by email so you attach evidence.  Spread the word, is closes within days, next week!

Also, I hope you've also registered for the Group Action, against the DVLA (open to anyone with a PCN since 2018?).  Gotta be in it to win it!  Nothing to lose, and it's genuine.

Read the threads about those important matters, they both need doing, right now, this week.
