Maybe I’m missing something obvious but after booking my day 2 pcr test with randox I today got message from their courier saying I wasn’t home and the option to pay more to specify another date in the next 2 days. As I am in Spain and will not be in uk till 24 aug how the hell can I be in to collect it? Expected them to put in letterbox.surely this has happened to many?
all im worried about is will this affect my ability to fly back..I have the reference numbers they emailed me

sounds like a scam text the new type of fraud as reported in guardian article above - nothing to do with your tests a coincidence which the fraudsters rely on to make you panic . Don’t give your bank details .

It may be a scam, but I ordered mine whilst in Spain and was then notified of a delivery date far quicker than expected.  I then received a message confirming time of delivery that wasn't suitable.  I contact delivery company who agreed to deliver to neighbours following day at no cost.  The packages would not have fitted through my letter box.  They probably use different couriers so they would have different procedures.  Mine was DPD.  I have also received scam emails from companies purporting to be DPD previously.  I usually google the exact wording from any text or email to check whether a scam or not.Hope this helps.

My daughter had Randox Kits delivered this morning, prior to going on holiday.  DPD dropped at neighbours address as she wasn't in.  Later in day got email saying couldn't deliver due to insufficient information.  She noticed that the reference numbers were totally different, the email address had no bearing on DPD.  Fortunately she didn't take any action.  They asked for £3 to deliver tomorrow and £1 for following day.  May be worth checking your email to see where it was from and to speak with bank if concerned to block future transactions.

Too much of a coincidence to receive a scam email on the very day you are expecting a delivery from the same company.  Must be someone with knowledge of the genuine delivery.  I wouldn't expect Randox to conduct any enquiries if other posts are anything to go by.
