If the terms of the prize include an expiry date and the company offering it aren't willing to negotiate to extend it further then difficult to see what options you have other than to travel or lose out, unless you can perhaps sell it?  The fact that you're 75 isn't their problem, to be honest....

not sure what is meant by this. UAE was on the Red list for hotel quarantine on return but is now on the Amber list (no self-isolation on return if vaccinated)

There is now no reason you cannot travel to Dubai.
Are you aware it's come off the red list?

If you would prefer to delay then I'm afraid that isn't their problem.
If you are disinclined to go I would suggest you ask if you can transfer it and gift it to someone amongst your family or friends.
UAE has had a low number of cases and deaths.
Your issue is of course the airplane and the airports.
It's unfortunate but you don't have any rights if it's simply the case that you prefer to delay.

If it's offered via a travel agent you could ask if it's possible to transfer it to somewhere you would prefer.

No one is asking anyone to risk their health.  Hardly forcing you to go.

If you want to go, if you don't then don't.
No one is asking you to risk anything, the choice is entirely yours.

    agree....
UAE deaths per 1M population have been about 10% of the UK figure
in the table of deaths per 1M population, UK currently sits at #20 (out of 222) UAE at #126

The problem with Dubai in particular is that it’s an international travel hub.
so there could be people from red countries on the flight back.
I sympathise with the OP but there aren’t any rights to demand changes and there never are when it’s disinclination however understandable.
the best thing is to try to make an amendment.
it better for family to have a holiday than lose it altogether.
