Tesco Clubcard prices not always applied for online shopping

This happened to me two weeks in a row. It may only be my branch of Tesco, but I ordered Costa Coffee Colombian Roast Espresso 57G and was charged the full price of £3 instead of the clubcard price of £2. I phoned their helpdesk and on their system it showed that the clubcard price was applied, but when you add up the numbers it came to the full price. I suspect their might be a bug in their system. I got the refund but the second time their helpdesk was less friendly.

This only applies to this one item. I have been charged correctly for other items.

    Just checking you realise clubcard prices are all at the end of your receipt as a discount - and sometimes not obviously named. 

    I know Tesco can and do make mistakes, but this isn't something I've noticed doing weekly online shops with them since (and well before) clubcard prices.

    The only thing I've noticed with these clubcard prices is that I'm not notified in an obvious way if my date of delivery is after the deal ends. Not sure if they're still doing this though.

    The duration of the offer is clearly stated alongside the item so you have to check that against the delivery date you've selected.
