Grandparents Will leaves everything
“ to my said Daughter xxxx “
Does that suggest that he thought xxxx was not his Daughter, or is said Daughter a recognised legal term ?

No it does not mean that, it means named or me signed earlier.0

To clarify for Birdcage, I assume "me signed" is some sort of predictive text or voice recognition error and is meant to be "mentioned".
At least I hope that is what it is...2 -

Usually the person, the daughter in this case, will have had their full name and address specified earlier in the will to make it clear who is meant. "said" is used to avoid having to repeat the full name and address of someone.
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0
