My fix is coming to an end @ 30 Sept.

The standard tariff prices shown on switching sites such as MSE and uSwitch will increase on 1 Oct I assume.
Alot of the fixes seam to match the current standard tariff at the moment. Which will be a reasonable deal post 1 Oct I assume.

MSE CEC no longer lists EDF deals in 2021. Does anyone know a good switching site that provides EDF Deals ?  or Eon

Last year EDF emailed me me an exclusive deal, has anyone received on of these recently?

Thanks

You can get EDF and EON quotes direct from their websites.
Or use one of https://switch.which.co.uk/ or https://energycompare.citizensadvice.org.uk/ but be aware that some of the CAB tariffs are only available from specific switching sites but they don't tell you which!

The EDF tarriffs on their website are never a very good deal!  Comparison sites have better deals

Fixed rate tariffs that are at or less than current energy cap are very good deals being as many fixed rate tariffs are above  current energy cap.  EDF direct March 24 - 2 year fixed rate no exit fees available to new customers,https://www.edfenergy.com/ Electricity kwh rate is below current energy cap with Gas slightly above current energy cap rate albeit kwh rate starts with a 3 unlike some Gas fixed kwh rates that start with a 4
EON Next which was built using Octopus Energy technology thus so similar has been described as Octopus Twin unlike Octopus Energy tariffs quotes direct from its website where standard fixed rate tariffs are above current energy cap with Gas kwh rate starting with a 4, none of  EON Next tariffs direct from its website are currently above current energy cap
https://www.eonnext.com/ - Facebook ads state that they are cheaper direct

Eon's website does appear a good deal thank you.
For the first time ever, I'm actually considering a 2 year deal !  (extra £12 SC for 2 year deal, no exit fee)

What surprises me it the electric cost per KWH seams idential where I'm looking. Only the SC changes

If you are referring to EON Next, for my region and likely to be the same for all regions EON Next Exclusive via Uswitch SC is cheaper for both fuels, however kwh rates for both fuels are more expensive than direct via EON Next website with Gas over 4pkwh and Electricity over 19pkwh

    SC = standing charge

    I'm looking at Eon next online v6  E 18.7p  G 3.32p

I don't like the prices EDF are offering when I login to my account

I clicked random Ofgem average for 2/3 bedroom house and without changing filters  results stated Cheapest fixed, no exit fee
Next Exclusive 2 Year v2  whereas direct from EON Next Website 2 year fix will be cheaper for most people, except for very low users
When applying filters to include tariffs not available to switch via Uswitch Next Online v6 comes up as cheaper albeit it is a 1 year fix, none of EON Next tariffs direct from its website have exit fees thus you have very little to lose choosing 2 year fix being as not much difference in tariff rates.
For my region rates shown for Next Online v6 on Uswitch are identical to rates shown on  EON Next webiste for Next Online v6, Tariff is only available direct.......

Thanks. Yes it's only £6 extra per fuel SC for the 2 year deal. And no exit fee.

If Electricity prices subsequently reduce and/or you see a cheaper Electricity fixed tariff  elsewhere that you fancy and if Gas prices remain high nothing to stop you switching Electricity out, leaving Gas with them, whilst they do not do Gas only signups, tariiffs are not specifically dual fuel tariffs......

Well I kicked off a switch last weekend.

Today EDF want me to stay offering me a £105 bill credit.
Phoned up to see what the rates would be E 19.81  G 3.92 so that would be £80/year more usage! thus only be £25 better off in the first year, and £80 worse off in the second year.

And there is a small exit fee.
    I don't think so
