Can I receive those personal belongings and how? Do I have to pay to take them back?
Thank you0 -
Have the Police arrested/charged anyone? As others have said the vehicle is the property ogf the insurance company but if you had an excess then I suppose (in theory at least) you could sue the thief if he has been found guilty. Not sure yoy will get your money.

If you didn't claim for those items under any insurance, just ask for them back. If you did then they are the property of the insurance you claimed under as well.0

Ask the police if you can recover your personal items before the car is moved by the insurer. Every time your car gets moved there's another person who may remove your items.
