Freeview Plus on a Firestick?

Our Samsung smart TV is a little elderly but works well with most things. We can't get the latest C5 catch up app since they changed it but we have a Firestick, so we use that.
However, we note that more modern TV's have Freeview Plus with the option, for example, 'press green to watch from the start'.
Is it possible to get Freeview Plus on our Firestick?

Freeview Plus is just Freeview with all the catch-up stuff bolted on; in an attempt to put it all in one place and look connected.Nothing there you can't get with the appropriate apps on a separate device, except you lose the whole connectivity thing but may be no biggie.1

The Amazon Fire TV app for Android (it's a wizzy remote control replacement) includes a keyboard. Might be worth a go.0

Is that something I put on my phone that controls the Firestick?

Thanks all for the advice.Downloaded the FV appDownloaded the Fire app to my phone.Opened the FV app, it still asked for postcode, opened the phone app, selected the keyboard but then nothing happened when I typed letters! Numbers worked fine so I entered 9999 as the postcode and away it went.BUTOpened the FV app and tried to load live and/or catch up but although left and right cursor would work, up and down wouldn't (on phone app or F-stik remote) ... so couldn't access any of the menus to navigate anything.0
