Halifax Reward Extra Maze

Does anyone else think it is difficult to select Halifax Reward Extra offers, that are almost 'hidden' down a rabbit warren of tabs and confirmations?

I always found it easy to select my Reward Extras, in both, online banking and on my iPhone, and at both, initial selection and at renewal time.

When I had to renew my Rewards last month, Halifax sent me an email with step-by-step instructions on how to do it either through online banking or through the app. Wasn't terribly difficult.

I'm down that rabbit hole as I type this. 

Wanna use desktop so I can keep screenshots. With the mobile app cannot take screenshots. 

I received a letter from Halifax and that says go to:
https://www.halifax.co.uk/bankaccounts/reward-extras.html

I do that and click on the button 'sign in to add reward extras'. I checked the link address of the button and it's:
https://secure.halifax-online.co.uk/personal/a/mobile/account_overview

so it seems to be taking me to the mobile version of the page on a desktop and I cannot see anything about reward extras when I click that button (I'm already logged in).

Not received any email from Halifax either.

edit: took some digging (pun intended) but managed to locate it. On left hand side of screen there is 'my current account options'. Need to expand it by clicking the '+' then click 'add your reward extras' (1st option on the list. Below it there is 'track your reward extras').

Yes, very easy to find on the desktop/laptop, even if logged in via that mobile link

I found it before seeing the screenshot above. But it took about half an hour. It's not completely obvious. First I clicked on 'more actions' on the right side thinking it'll be placed there. Then I clicked on 'your accounts' at the top of the screen.

After much digging around, kinda gave up and read some posts on here from threads bygone and came across this post:

that says: 

Scroll down to near the bottom of the Home screen. Click on My Extras. Then you will se Reward Extras.

So I figured I'd look for something similar and happen to see 'My current account options' on the right side of screen. Of course, it looks like it's been changed from last year, because there is no 'My Extras' option anywhere to be seen (as it says on the post above)!!

and to confirm that you have selected a reward for the up coming year you will get an email from Halifax

I remember having to search for it the first time. Only took a few minutes to try every menu but I agree with the OP that it could be surfaced better.
