Social Services trying to force carers upon us – covid concerns

Just wanted to say your mum wouldn’t be hoisted because the carers were lazy but rather because of health and safety issues. You say you have a strong back - and that’s great - but IF you suffer an injury you will need help, far better to have a plan in hand.
I agree carers may never care for your relatives with the devotion of a family member so you can still keep your mum's fingernails clean etc, but let carers help too.
