British Parking Association (BPA) advice?

Does anyone know the legal stance following this reply from BPA AOS?

” Our role as an Accredited Trade Association is to investigate alleged breaches of our Code of Practice by members of our Approved Operator Scheme where evidence can be supplied and we are unable to become involved in individual ticket disputes or hear appeals.

I can confirm that Auto Security Ltd are no longer members of the BPA; however, if they have address details they can still pursue a Parking Charge Notice.

I would suggest seeking legal advice to ascertain what your legal standpoint is.”
